Whiskey Tasting Room

This tasting room pays tribute to rich history of both the locally distilled spirit, and the prohibition era building it will be bringing back to life. Original long leaf pine floors and tin ceilings tell stories of a bygone era while the selectively exposed brick whisper secrets to the guests enjoying a taste of the bootleggers hard work.

The design aimed to create a welcoming space that was bright enough for a casual day time tasting that didn’t feel like a dark bar, but also moody cozy space into the late evening hours. Special attention was paid to lighting and materials that would make the the transition feel natural and guests feel relaxed enough to stay a while. Custom tile design, vintage style touches, and a bar that melds modern design with historic flavor also help tell the brand’s story of both past and present.
