Opening a new office in downtown Chicago, the client requested to have a space that spoke to Chicago's history while looking forward to the company's future within the Windy City. As a Chicagoland native and the lead designer, this task was an exciting opportunity to pay tribute to the city that means so much to me. Design elements included nods to iconic Chicago as well as elements that are more sentimental to locals. A favorite feature is the structure designed to be reminiscent of the L train structure. All design and construction coordination was successfully executed completely remote.
